John P. Sleesman, PhD, CFP®

John P. Sleesman, PhD, CFP® earned his BA degree in Biology from the College of Wooster and his PhD in Plant Pathology from The Ohio State University. He served in the U.S. Army Chemical Corps and was honorably discharged at the rank of 1st Lieutenant. After completing a 31 year career with Bayer CropScience, where he served in numerous managerial positions in both Research & Development and Marketing, he joined Southeast Financial Group. John is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, Past President of the Financial Planning Association of the Triangle Chapter, and is a registered assistant with Liberty Partners Financial Services, LLC, a FINRA and SIPC member, and registered broker/dealer.
